How did this get started? Why are we even doing this?

This all got started when I got my first dog, Axle, back in 2015. He was a very hansom pup and I would constantly receive compliments on his behalf. He was only four years old when suddenly he developed a very aggressive cancer that was virtually untreatable. He had also developed Megaesophagus with all this going on. As soon as we found out about it, it was too late.

While Axle was alive, he seemed to be an incredibly happy dog. We had lived in a mountainous area with my housemate and his pup where they would go swimming in the lake and more often, chase after each other through the hills.

Axle had always been an extremely photogenic dog. I had wanted to make shirts with his likeness on them from day one. I don't think I've ever taken a bad picture of him. Someone suggested I make a hat too. I had one made for me and within days of receiving it friends had started asking when they could get one for themselves.

I have always had a soft spot in my heart for animals, there's no question about that. I saw this company as an opportunity to give back to the animals that have brought us so much joy.
